Sign To Yourself: Financial Freedom for Creative Business Owners

Date: 02/03/2021

Time: 5:30pm
Where: LMHQ, ,

2020 was a tough year for the independent creative community, especially for women of color and LGBTQ+. But, we’ve been resilient and mastered the art of the pivot, and through it all, learned a lot about what’s important to us, how we want to exist in this world and how we do not.
One of the biggest takeaways from last year has been the importance of having multiple streams of income, better managing our finances and being able to sustain ourselves and families through uncertainty. Owning a business, though not easy, is one of the most empowering decisions you can make to ensure the stability of your future. And for many creatives, this process can feel daunting and sometimes defeating.
This collaborative, interactive workshop for creatives, freelancers, artists and service based consultants or business owners gave an overview on how to keep, structure, save and reinvest money, as well as the tools to define a strategic path for realizing goals and objectives in 2021.
