Watch Managing Stress in Trying Times
Stress management can be challenging in normal times, but it can seem almost insurmountable in the middle of a global pandemic. In this workshop, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Tracie Pinnock helped participants understand how stress presents itself in their lives, how well they currently deal with stress, and how to put systems in place to better manage it. Key takeaways included:
  • Try to pinpoint the origin of your stress and determine if it is something you can control
  • Create a schedule ensure self-care becomes part of your routine
  • Build and communicate boundaries within the relationships in your life
  • Create rituals to signal key energy points during the day, i.e. end of work, bedtime
