In normal times, owning and running a business is no small feat. The pandemic didn’t make it any easier. On April 27, entrepreneurs and EONY (Entrepreneurs’ Organization New York) Board Chairs Debbie Kiederer (Founder Chalkdust Consulting & EONY President-Elect), Tom Conlon (Founder North Street Creative, EONY Accelerator Chair), and Brad Ginsburg (Partner/President Global Communication Works, EONY New Member Chair) hosted a fireside chat that explored how to level up your branding, positioning, communications and strategy during times of uncertainty and times of stability.

 

 

Debbie Kiederer is the founder of ChalkDust Consulting, a remote digital consultancy that specializes in end-to-end program management with strong global ecommerce strategy, implementation and program management expertise. She has over 20 years’ experience with remote business leadership and more than three decades of experience positioning luxury and premium consumer brands, Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits and startups in the digital space. Debbie most recently developed Vanishing Hanger®, a fashion-tech platform that personalizes and socializes the shopping experience. Debbie is currently Mentorship Chair and forthcoming President for EONY.
 

Tom Conlon is the founder of North Street, an independent Lower Manhattan-based creative agency that develops brand messaging, visual identity systems, websites, and marketing materials for organizations in the financial, professional services, and nonprofit sectors. As company lead, Tom oversees an award-winning interdisciplinary team of visual designers, strategists, content creators, and engineers. Prior to launching North Street, Tom was a writer and editor in the consumer magazine industry, bylining articles in such publications as Boston, Inked, Maxim, Men’s Journal, Popular Science, and Wired. Tom currently serves as Chair of EONY’s Accelerator program. 

 

Brad Ginsburg is a Partner/President of Global Communication Works (GCW), a full-service strategic communications, crisis management and reputation management firm with offices in New York City, Houston and Chicago. GCW represents some of the most prominent, well-respected and prestigious individuals, institutions, companies & brands both nationally and internationally. With a strong digital media and communications background, Brad brings a wealth of technological knowledge paired with strategic brand building ability while overseeing teams on public relations, public affairs, brand building and production. Brad also serves as the Membership Integration Chair for EONY.
