Thinking about a career change? Have an idea for a new business? Want to expand your role at your company or take on a new challenge at work, but not sure how to embark on the transition?

Join us at LMHQ on June 8th for our intimate, 3-hour career mapping workshop for women. Walk away with tangible next steps to find a career doing what you love. Learn tools to overcome your fears, explore what drives you, and understand how to transform your purpose into meaningful work.

This workshop is led by two kickass innovation, education and startup experts, Lisa Pertoso, formerly Head of Executive Education Programs at global creative business school Hyper Island, and Shana Dressler, formerly Executive Director at Google’s 30 Weeks, an incubator for design entrepreneurs.

Lisa and Shana will use their deep understanding of small-business education, strategic thinking and planning, and their ability to navigate chaos and ambiguity to help you get to where you want to be.

Workshop takeaways include:

  • Understanding your purpose and clarifying your career direction

  • Building an opportunity map and identifying resources to support your next steps

  • Creating a 3-6 month action plan with realistic, achievable goals

  • Networking with other like-minded women for support and accountability

Workshop Leaders

Shana and Lisa have supported over 1,000 women launch businesses and creative projects, build hardware and software products, and transition out of boring jobs into more fulfilling careers. Both women are master facilitators and entrepreneurs themselves, helping the social impact, nonprofit, and creative sectors thrive and grow.

Collectively, they’ve worked with the 92Y’s Women in Power Fellows, Advertising Club of NY’s Women Fellows, Echoing Green’s Social Entrepreneur Fellows, and TBWA Worldhealth and served as thought leaders and speakers at HarvardxDesign, Fast Company's Innovation Festival, 99u Conference, The Social Good Summit, Creative Mornings, and General Assembly.
