LMHQ Women’s Breakfast: Women’s HealthTech

Date: 11/16/2017

Time: 8:30 AM
Where: LMHQ, 150 BROADWAY, NEW YORK NY

Join us at LMHQ for a conversation on a particularly provocative topic: women’s healthcare and the technology startups disrupting the status quo. We’ll be talking with Katherine Ryder, CEO of Maven Clinic, an expert health network for women that leverages technology to expand access, lower costs, and make our healthcare system more inclusive, Janica Alvarez, Co-Founder and CEO of Naya Health, bringing better technology to health products for modern moms, like their redesigned breast pump and smart bottle, Angie Lee, Chief Product Officer at Celmatixa next-generation women’s health company transforming reproductive health care through genomics and big data, and Jenny Friedler, Senior Director, Digital Product Lab at Planned Parenthood Federation of Americaa team developing digital tools to make sure everyone can access the sexual and reproductive health information and resources they need.

We’ll be joined by Ruthie Ackerman, Deputy Editor at Women@Forbes, as moderator.

More women are taking a stand for women’s heathcare rights in the U.S., including entrepreneurs. Participate in a dialogue that discusses how hacking the current healthcare system with tech products may be a way forward to lift up more women and provide them with quality healthcare experiences. For Maven Clinic, getting a birth control prescription is as easy as clicking on a link. Naya Health has improved the breast pumping experience, making it faster and easier for working mothers, ultimately giving them more of an opportunity to advance in the workplace (instead of having to spend hours of the day away from their desks). Spot On, the period and birth control tracker launched last year by PPFA’s Digital Product Lab, makes it easy for every user to stay on top of their bodies, cycles, and birth control.

Doors open at 8:30 AM for bagels and coffee and an opportunity for networking, and our panel kicks off at 9:00 AM sharp. We can’t wait to see you!
