LMHQ Women’s Breakfast: Small Startups, Big Clients

Date: 04/26/2017

Time: 8:30 AM

What’s it like being a small fry with big ideas? How do you land big brand accounts as a small creative company?
Join us at LMHQ for our monthly women’s breakfast as we talk with Mallory Blair, Co-Founder of Small Girls PR, and Jenna Weiss-Berman, Co-Founder of Pineapple Street Media, in conversation with LMHQ’s Director of Programs + Events, Tracy Candido, about taking a personal approach to handling big client accounts. Between both companies, they count brands like GE, Google, Verizon, The New York Times, Hillary Clinton, Ann Taylor, Clinique, Viacom, L’Oreal, Lena Dunham, and Wieden+Kennedy among their clients.

We’ll be learning how both companies craft thoughtful relationships to build big business contracts, what they offer to huge clients that the big guys can’t, and how they act as strategic partners for companies needing tailored, creative solutions.

Doors open at 8:30 AM for bagels and coffee and an opportunity for networking, and our panel kicks off at 9:00 AM sharp. We can’t wait to see you!

This event is sponsored by Verizon.

Small Girls PR

Bianca Caampued (5'0'') and Mallory Blair (5'3'') are small girls. Together, they steer a team of many talented taller people to power Small Girls PR. We named our company eponymously because our whole M.O. is championing a personal approach to public relations. We've never mass BCC'd reporters. We don't issue press releases. We've only ever used a wire once when we were forced to by pirates. Just kidding. What do we do? We pull out the most compelling stories from our clients - from uncovering noteworthy trends in their user data to compiling areas of unique thought leadership. Then, we curate the right reporter to work with on the story at hand.

Pineapple Street Media

Of the shows they’ve released, all have debuted the iTunes top ten.
